A Comparison of Technologies:
Solar Domestic Water Heating

In a recent article prepared for the 2nd European Solar Thermal Energy Conference 2005 held in Freiburg, Germany, the Centre of Excellence for Solar Engineering at Ingolstadt University of Applied Science investigated a solar-assisted heating system in a two-family house.

The target of the project was to demonstrate the use of solar energy in redeveloped family houses and its potential to reduced CO2 emissions.
